Ray

FOUNDER

Ray is a qualified boilermaker with extensive professional welding experience, and has worked across fabrication, mining, and large-scale construction environments. Through his hands-on career, he developed a strong conviction that accurate, efficient fabrication starts with properly engineered equipment — particularly professionally built welding tables designed for precision, safety, and repeatability.
This belief became the foundation of Ozcut Abrasives. Ray’s philosophy is to deliver high-quality, industrial-grade products at a fair and reasonable price by operating an efficient business model — focusing on intelligent design, reliable manufacturing, and disciplined cost control, rather than compromising on materials or performance.
In addition to fabrication, Ray has developed significant expertise in CNC machining and has operated a machine workshop. This experience provides valuable insight into precision engineering, workholding, and process efficiency, directly influencing Ozcut’s product development and continuous improvement.
Under Ray’s leadership, Ozcut Abrasives continues to focus on engineering integrity, practical innovation, and products built to perform in real workshop conditions.

Natalie

CO-FOUNDER & OPERATIONS

Natalie is a co-founder of Ozcut Abrasives and is responsible for overseeing business operations and customer engagement. Working alongside Ray, she plays a central role in the day-to-day management of the business and the long-term development of the brand.
Prior to joining Ozcut full-time, Natalie built her career in the finance industry, holding senior client-facing roles over more than a decade. This background provided extensive experience in sales, customer relationship management, procurement, and commercial operations — skills that translate directly into how Ozcut supports its customers and manages its supply chain.
At Ozcut, Natalie focuses on operational efficiency, clear communication, and consistent service standards. She works closely with customers to ensure their requirements are understood and met, and that each interaction reflects the company’s commitment to reliability and professionalism.
Natalie believes strong businesses are built on trust, accountability, and long-term relationships, and she brings this approach into every aspect of Ozcut’s operations.

Ross

ADVISOR & MENTOR

Ross grew up on a farm in Euroa, Victoria, where fixing things properly wasn’t optional — it was just how work got done. He trained as a mechanic and built a career based on hands-on experience, practical problem-solving, and doing the job right the first time.
He spent many years working across industrial environments, ran his own power equipment maintenance business, and later worked at BHP for over a decade. Those years shaped his approach to machinery: equipment needs to be reliable, safe, and built to handle real-world conditions — not just look good on paper.
Today, Ross is semi-retired but remains closely involved with Ozcut Abrasives. As Ray’s father, he supports the business both personally and professionally, offering advice, technical insight, and a grounded perspective drawn from decades on the tools.
That same mindset — solid materials, practical design, and no shortcuts — is reflected in the products we build and stand behind at Ozcut.
