Ross

ADVISOR & MENTOR

Ross grew up in Sale, Victoria, where fixing things properly wasn’t optional — it was just how work got done. He trained as a mechanic and built a career based on hands-on experience, practical problem-solving, and doing the job right the first time.
He spent many years working across industrial environments, ran his own power equipment maintenance business, and later worked at BHP for over a decade. Those years shaped his approach to machinery: equipment needs to be reliable, safe, and built to handle real-world conditions — not just look good on paper.
Today, Ross is semi-retired but remains closely involved with Ozcut Abrasives. As Ray’s father, he supports the business both personally and professionally, offering advice, technical insight, and a grounded perspective drawn from decades on the tools.
That same mindset — solid materials, practical design, and no shortcuts — is reflected in the products we build and stand behind at Ozcut.
